Position overview:

The project administrator will provide administrative and secretarial support ensuring that work is handled efficiently and confidently. The position is a key position that makes a meaningful contribution to the smooth running and expansion of the company and Technical division. The purpose of the position is to provide support to company management, assist the department’s heads and supervisors as well as technical teams with project execution.

Candidate Requirements
General Duties: (Include but not limited to):

  • General Admin work (Filing, Travel Bookings, Fleet bookings, courier and stationery requests etc.)
  • Answering telephones
  • Ensuring weekly submissions and timesheets are completed and submitted timeously
  • Minute taking of department meetings
  • Client liaison / Correspondence
  • Ad Hoc assistance with the business development plan
  • Bids ( Ensuring that attendees are identified and bids are registered and submitted on time as well as bid follow ups)
  • Reviewing departmental expenses
  • Assisting with SHEQ related duties

Qualification:

Graduate (Business Administration)

Skills:

  • Communication skills (Proven written and oral commination skills)
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Self-motivation
  • Time Management skills
  • Office administration
  • Flexibility
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Organised
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable
