The most stressful time of your student year is NOW.
You have worked so hard to get to this part of the year, the final part of the second semester. But now you feel demotivated, stressed and not sure how you are going to pull through this time.
Here are some words of advice to help you out:
Find a study method that works for you and stick to it. Whether it’s going to the library with a group, or you simply enjoy studying at home with soft music playing in the background.
Be realistic with your study time line. Study in advance so that you can just revise before the exam.
Always keep your study place neat, because once it is clean you will have no distractions and you are able to study more effectively.
Manage your eating, reduce your sugar intake and eat food that will stimulate your mind. Your body is your engine and it needs to run on healthy fuel in order to work well and to keep your energy and concentration levels high.
Get enough sleep, so that your brain can process the information it takes in.
Avoid being around stressful people, as that can impact you too.
Exercise outdoors regularly as this has positive effects on your body. .
Make yourself a cup of tea, or hot chocolate and don’t be too hard on yourself.
