Using Infographics To Attract Employers – Part 1


A creative way of selling yourself? How about creating an infographic where you sell yourself to your potential employer with your best qualities and interesting facts visually before seeing them face to face.

This is a visual version of your CV. What do you need to add on your Infographic?

  • A recent professional picture of yourself
  • 3-5 previous job roles
  • Relevant references with their titles
  • Contact details and links to your website or portfolio (anything extra but relevant that you would like to highlight)
  • Education (most recent such as High School or University)
  • You can add a life quote that you live by or that inspires you
  • Lastly 3-5 punchy facts about yourself

Remember your infographic is a sneak peak of your CV so no need to add detailed information. You can add a option for your potential employer to contact you for your detailed CV.

There are many ways to create infographics, but the easiest way is by using Powerpoint. This way you can create an informative collage and play around with different themes, see below example:
